SC-IQ is a consulting firm formed by Bill Jewell.

Bill took early retirement after 27 years in the Semiconductor Group of Texas Instruments (TI).  He worked in market analysis/intelligence for 23 years at TI.  His responsibilities at TI included semiconductor market forecasting and analysis of economic trends, electronic equipment markets, semiconductor device markets, and competitors.  At the time of his retirement, Bill was Manager of Market Intelligence in TI’s Worldwide Sales and Marketing organization.

Bill has been active in industry statistics organizations and competitive analysis organizations.  He served a board member, Americas Chairman and Worldwide chairman of Worldwide Semiconductor Market Statistics (WSTS). Bill has been a member of Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) since 1993.

Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (with highest honors) from the University of Texas at Austin and a MBA (with highest honors) from the University of Houston.  He currently resides in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area.
